The Challenge

Though the brand initially grew quickly to a million-dollar business with only a small team, in the words of the client, it was "missing a high level marketing strategy. We need a sounding board, guidance, and management of marketing efforts." They'd outsourced almost all marketing channels (PPC, SEO, Email, Social Paid Ads), and any semblance of a unified strategy or brand consistency was greatly lacking. Revenue growth was also beginning to wane; decreasing by 50% over prior year.

Our Approach

Through a market analysis and target customer persona analysis, DUO identified more than seven target audiences and created a segmentation strategy along with an omni-channel strategy to make genuine connections with them across all their shopping channels. In turn, each consumer group offered the brand a much higher repeat purchase rate and lifetime value.

​Then we went to work on a robust and branded business-to-business strategy and program that provided differentiation and a platform on which to build long term high value partnerships to the likes of Nasa, Apple, Ralph Lauren, FedEx, Delta, Walmart, and others. To instill consumer confidence at the level required to capture the attention of these high value customers, we made over the brand to take it from a parts warehouse to a full-service commercial partner.

​Lastly, through a positioning and pricing analysis, we identified where the brand needed to land within the competitive landscape and the relevant campaigns they needed to launch to draw consumers in. Once that happened the capable internal team provided the excellent customer service to keep them coming back.

The Outcome

DUO helped pave the way for Golf Cart Garage to more than double their revenue in the first year of the engagement. Underperforming marketing channels were taken from 'zero' to 'hero'. The team was able to grow substantially and is now working to launch new innovative and proprietary services.
